Right now, if we had to play this week, Corey Bradford would be a question mark. He's getting an MRI today on his groin.

Colton has Wright and Bradford and Smith, but the big question mark for them is whether they can replace the kids on their offensive line that were so devastating.

He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room. I've never seen Corey shoot like this. Corey was feeling it today -- he was hot. He played great. If he can play like that every night, it will be that much better for our team.

We had to play Mark Miller outside today which really just left us with a three-man rotation inside. It seemed like Antonio's time is here. He had a good week of practice. We're committed to playing these young players and the only way they are going to improve is to play them in the game.

[Peacock, the Bradford captain whose move to Leeds was confirmed last week, moves up from vice-captain to replace the injured Paul Sculthorpe.] He wears his heart on his sleeve and leads by example, but he also understands tactics, ... He's had a difficult season at Bradford with all our ups and downs, but I never flinched from promoting him.

It hurt [Saturday] enough that I couldn't play anymore. Before the Rangers game I didn't actually feel it at all. I knew it was there but I felt good. I thought I was making progress with the groin, but unfortunately I wasn't. The thing is with the groin, you have to be 95 or 100 percent to play, that's just the way it is.

Truthfully, our main game plan every week is to run our 16s and 17s, and then adjust to how they're attacking us? That's Corey going to the right and Corey going to the left.

I've never seen Corey shoot like this, never in my life not even in a pickup game. Corey was feeling it today, he was hot. He played great.

I am really pleased with Corey's performance. She did what she needed to do to get ready for next week. The pressure was off of her today and she could just focus on doing the dives that she was capable of without any consequence. That was a big thing in helping her be consistent today. She also added to her confidence heading into the NCAA Championships to be the 3-meter champion from this zone.

If anyone is ready to step in and play in the Big East, it's Corey. He did a great job for us and there's no question he's a Division I (college) player.

You know you're doing it right when you feel burning in your hips and nothing in your groin. It gets my hips and my groin all on one page. I had groin trouble early in my career. I was using too much of my groin because my hips were tight.

This isn't the first time it's been a question. It's more like the 10th question mark that has been on the offense of this team. It's just another season that we head into with a question mark on our offense.

Everyone's been on us about our defense. That's been our question mark. And today we stepped up.

It was huge. The big thing with Corey out there is that he can play great defense. Today, I don't think he was happy with what happened at the plate. We talked right before we went out there [for the ninth] and said, 'Man, you can make the play that makes the difference in the game in center field,' and he did.

It's an either/or. I don't think it's a major (question). That's not a major question. It's a major question mark for everybody else, but there's coverage there (if Bagwell cannot play). One way or the other, it will work.
