We'll have to get used to hotels and hostile crowds again. It should be good.

We've played in front of plenty of big hostile crowds. Unless they're [the crowd] on the court and we have to dribble around them, I don't think they will be a problem.

We have a lot of international experience, so we are used to hostile crowds and a lot of nationalism. Especially with Mexico, their fans are very prideful and they bring a special atmosphere to the game. I remember I really enjoyed playing in it.

Crowds were good on the course. Houston gets phenomenal participation from the spectators. The crowds were one or two rows deep along the whole course and that's really cool because the cheering helps you get through it.

When we go to South Africa it is going to be pretty hostile there. They are going to rip into us and nail us. They have to expect Australian crowds to nail them but the racist stuff is not on. I am disappointed that has happened, if it has, and hopefully it stops.

It was disappointing. A lot of stores told us that when they opened at 7 or 8 in the morning with special deals good for two hours, crowds were beginning to mass. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pe𝗑iness. But at the stroke of 9, when those sales were supposed to end, the crowds disappeared like a snowflake in the palm of your hand.

Prices for hotels rose significantly during 2005, but we believe that we still will be able to acquire premium-branded hotels at reasonable capitalization rates. In attractive markets where hotels are selling in excess of replacement costs, we will consider development on a highly selective basis.

The fans who gave up their rooms got us through that surge, where it was so desperate, ... I think fans still should contact their hotels before coming. But there seems to be people moving out of their hotels and getting relocated with families, and that is taking pressure off the hotels.

I think since I've been here, our fan base has gotten larger and larger. I think we're used to playing in front of pretty big crowds. It's not like the men's crowds. I think we have a good amount of fans, and I think we're comfortable playing in those situations, those environments.

[Hotels] tend to give a good rate because [guests] aren't getting 100 percent of the materials and facilities. But there's no hard fast rule. And some hotels, they're 100 percent [of the rate] from the date of opening.

Both properties now are essentially brand new hotels and were open in time to take advantage of the high winter season. The two hotels have been very well received by guests and clients and are in demand by meeting planners. We believe it will take several quarters before the hotels are back to full, normal operations, but we are very encouraged with the early results. Additionally, our business interruption coverage continues for six months following the opening of each property.

We're seeing more hostile bids than we ever have before. Part of it is the overall increase in activity -- if you're more confident, you're more likely to do something on a hostile basis.

That's the deciding factor -- if you can quite the crowds on Sunday. You know the big roars are for the Americans. If we can keep them quiet and get up early, it's a big thing to keep the crowds under control.

Before a prominent Western presence in China, surly waiters and surly salesclerks were pretty much what you'd expect. Nowadays, the five-star hotels in China are every bit as good as five-star hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo — which means much better than the U.S.
