en When I was sitting out, I learned how to keep my head up and try and help my teammates in practice knowing that I couldn't play. That was really tough and I'm happy I got over that and am getting set to play my last few games. His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness. It made me appreciate everything that Florida State did for me in the three years I've been here. I know that coaches and people here rally care about their players.

en He's sitting around here someplace smiling, just thrilled to death about the progress the league has made as far as with the assistant coaches, head coaches, coordinators, players. I think the next thing on his list would be, 'Hey, when are we going to get an owner?' Knowing him, that's what he would say.

en I'm happy that the players are available again. It mightn't be totally accurate to say everyone has got off totally free because. . . players have been in a state of limbo, not knowing whether they could or couldn't play.

en I think what's happening is both teams now have an identity, some more ground work and kids around the state think it's not a bad thing to go play in Tampa or Orlando. It's a good thing. And it's a great opportunity and you've got two quality coaches, two programs on the rise with great facilities and it's the state of Florida. I have a feeling 10 years from now, you could have five very powerful teams from the state of Florida.

en We had to play our best to beat Colgate. When we did not play our best, Colgate made us pay. We learned that we need to play the full 60 minutes. But we have played in tense games all year, so I feel that our players have the necessary experience.

en It's been tough. Sitting there in the dugout and watching your team play knowing that I'm not going to have anything to do with the game. Especially in games that we lose, it's really hard. I'm back now and I just can't wait to get my feet wet again.

en That's where the great players want to go. Just like Florida State, the thing that scares you with my dad the last two years is top players are gonna stop going there if they don't think they can play for national championships.

en I was sitting in a gym, and he started banging in threes. I saw him in the Augusta Peach Jam. A lot of people questioned why we recruited him. A lot of people told Tyler that he wouldn't be able to play here. A couple of other coaches when he committed made comments like 'Don't call us when you transfer because you won't play there.' I was confident that he was a good player.

en I would've wanted a win. But knowing I went out there playing the best I could makes me happy. It's tough to see the faces of my teammates, even the young players were devastated.

en Somebody makes a big play (in practice), there are guys celebrating, congratulating him on the sideline. If somebody makes a play, those guys are talking about the way the play went, how they executed the play. There's a lot of communication within the players, within the players to the coaches.

en She's a big player and she really needs to play big when we need it. Jodi's learned to trust her teammates and let the game come to her and understand that her teammates are good players and will be able to get her the ball and find her in key situations.

en It feels good because obviously, you please your teammates. They're not just meaningless goals. You play to win games. You want to be in a situation to get a big goal and provide a win. It's a nice milestone. I don't really care too much for most of those but this one I'm happy with and hope to build on.

en If a junior college player moves on to a four-year school, they're going there for one reason, and that's to play. If they don't play, they're not very happy. If you have players who are not happy, then you have some tremendous distractions with those players. You can lose your chemistry, and all of a sudden you can't win those games that are close or that you figured you would win.

en A few of our WAC road games are tough places to get to, like New Mexico State and Utah State. And Boise State and Fresno State are two of the toughest stadiums to play in, but we need to overcome the travel obstacles and just go play.

en I think that's what made me better. That year off, seeing other guys play, knowing I'd missed the opportunity to be out there. After that, I couldn't quit. I won't quit. I can't put my head down after that.
