en Unfortunately in the emotion of winning the game my comments have come across partly in the wrong way. I want to make clear that I don't dive.

en [Any dislike of Spurrier starts] first with the winning, ... Not only that, on other occasions he might make comments. He might score more points here in Athens. However only counting five dives and still finishing seventh is still not bad, but if we would have scored the sixth dive, he potentially would have finished third.

en The first game (of a series) is an energy game, a feeling-out game. (Game 2 is) an adjustment - how well they handle winning and losing. Emotion (plays a) part of it, as well.

en We should make it clear to everybody how outrageous his comments are,

en In a game like that you expect Manhattan to play with a lot of emotion. They did. We didn't play with enough emotion. That can make the difference.

en I think there's going to be a lot more emotion for them to come out and play a little harder. They want to prove everybody wrong (who was) saying that they struggled in their first game.

en We didn't lose because of a lack of effort, that's for sure. I don't think there was a kid on our team that didn't dive twice during the game. We had a plan and stuck to it. We felt we could win and we came as close as you can without winning.
