en Major League Baseball is fortunate to have a man of Jimmie Lee's experience, intellect and dedication already on board to handle such a complex and important position as the chief of our baseball operations. When you have the opportunity to do that, you have to make the most of it and replenish your minor league system. ... en Last year, [when] I first came into this league, I didn't know really how this league was or how they were going to play defense. I wasn't sure how to go at my releases and it was difficult and I was learning on the move. Coming into to training camp, that really helped me. So I got to get a lot of different looks. Bigger players coming to jam me, when to go in, when not to go in.

en I've just been so impressed with his consistency in improving each year. He's just improved tremendously every single year. And he came in as a true freshman, so his development has been fast-tracked.
