We have some young kids that will probably fill in adequately. The year-round swimmers are always going to be your aces when it comes to state championships. They're a plus for any program.

I'm very familiar with the program and I know them all very well. They all have great ambition and they're all very motivated. Some of them are year-round swimmers, and that's definitely going to help things out quite a bit.

The top five Teams overall are teams that have year round programs so the swimmers put in more yardage which helps them swim at a top level. Our team has done very well with the limited practice time. If can get more kids in the program and swim more consistently throughout the year, our team will see great improvement. We could see our team move to the next level.

When we play other teams that have year-round facilities, you can see the level that they are at compared to ours. If we had a year-round program and kids could skate during the summer, it would really grow and our competitive abilities would be higher.

He's earned the job. It could be Justin back next week, but he (Fox) deserved to be in there tonight. We're always working with the young kids to fill in. One of the things about our program is if you don't improve, somebody is going to pass you by.

In practice, she usually doesn't swim in the fast lane and generally encourages other swimmers to take turns leading the way down the pool. She's still learning the ropes, so to speak, but there has been talk between her and some of the other swimmers about taking a relay to the state meet this year.

Our young kids really came through. We told them that they had the opportunity to win this. You have to give the kids credit. Last year we had three [Passaic County] kids in the [State] finals. Maybe we can get some other kids down there.

Celina was a great team. It was the first dealings I ever had with them, and they have a class organization and program. Obviously, they had a lot of kids with a desire to get back where they belong after winning state championships in the past. Our teams were very similar in a lot of ways.

She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.

He's somebody we can rally the program around. Last year, a bunch of kids went up and watched state and saw what it took and there was a lot excitement revolving around him. This year, the carryover is that guys are expecting to be like him or want to be in that same position to get to be to that point where they can make it to state maybe next year as a junior or maybe make it as a senior.

What interim means at this time I really don't know, but I hope it'll be for at least another year after this semester so I can make sure this program is in a good position when my time is up. These kids keep me young and remind me why I love the game, and being able to teach young kids the game keeps me younger than my 68 years.

We had a good training program before and the kids were adequately treated, but he's raised the bar. It's even better now. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in.

Our team has just two year-round swimmers. You can just throw them in the water and they go fast.

We should have a better defense with more experienced girls in the field. The inexperienced girls are gone. It was a struggle defensively, as well as offensively, last season. The new girls we have should fill the void adequately. More than adequately, actually.

We appreciate the commitment of Kyle and his staff to Morehead State and the Eagle basketball program. There is no question that many facets of our program improved under his direction. We will immediately begin the process of a national search to fill this void in our athletics program.
