I know that several of my friends and I have been anxiously awaiting to see 'Capote,' 'Good Night, and Good Luck,' 'North Country,' 'Mrs. Henderson Presents,' etc. etc.. Can you tell us why these films go to (and stay) at certain North Side theaters?

It would be nice if we had something here in the North Country where there were enough good jobs, good paying jobs, so that our youngsters when they graduated would have an option. They wouldn't have to stay here but they would have an option to stay if they so chose.

Crime does not discriminate. We know we have issues on the North Side, but it's not just the North Side. It's on the South Side, West Side and the East Side.

Originally, the ground under the south side of the bridge was not built up like it is. Water is now diverted to the north side of the center piling and the dirt on the south side acts like a dam, eroding the north side. That needs to be cleaned out then the flooding would not be so bad.

Sure, we had a few girls sick, but that's not why we lost. North Side just beat us because they're a very, very good team. They control the boards and made our girls look tentative the entire night.

I was confident in what we had done over the course of the season that we were going to get in. I felt good about it. It's just that you're anxiously awaiting to see where you're going, what environment you're going to get stuck in.

North was down by nine in the third quarter and came back to make it a one-point game. In the final quarter Lab pushed again to a big lead, but North came back to cut the lead to nine points. Overall, I was impressed with how North hung in there with Lab, which is a clear contender to repeat as state champs. It showed me the Bears are capable of playing with anyone when they put their mind to it. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. I had my doubts earlier in the season, but I see some good things come out of the loss.

We're digging, and Matt's having some bad luck. If we keep knocking the lead off 80 or 100 points at a time, we're going to be in good shape in a couple of weeks. Right now, we're just going out and doing everything we can every week. Our cars are better, our pit stops more consistent, and that is helping everything come together. Down the stretch here, we're definitely racing a little harder because we've got something to shoot for. We just need luck to stay on our side and we'll see how things play out.
