A lot of people were hoping to see a bottom in the first quarter of the calendar year. At the very least, it looks like the bottom is getting pushed back to the second quarter.

We had a very good quarter. Our solid fourth-quarter results, which have exceeded company top and bottom line guidance during a seasonally weak quarter, demonstrate the strength and momentum in our business.

Earnings should bottom in the first quarter. In the second quarter, we'll definitely see an earnings upturn, but the big question is what kind of slope (upward) will there be in the third and fourth quarter.

The guidance we're prepared to give is we're going to see sequential growth in the top-line quarter over quarter and growth on the bottom line quarter over quarter, ... We need to perform. Performance is our mantra, and out here we are working hard to perform.

Intel sees no signs of a pickup and would not call this quarter the bottom for revenues. We do not think the bottom will be reached until the summer, at the earliest, and remain cautious on the stock.

Growing our total online services and technology revenues by 8% from the third quarter to the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006 is a tremendous achievement, and we are optimistic about continuing the trend of quarter-over-quarter revenue growth in the current fiscal year. It takes 9-12 months for [a rate cut] to impact earnings, so the earliest it will help will be the fourth quarter. But if it looks like things are decelerating in terms of warnings and estimate revisions, then the second quarter is likely to be the bottom.

Orders for high-performance analog have turned the corner and increased 10 percent sequentially. As things stand now, it appears that third quarter will mark the bottom for orders, and the floor for revenue should be set in the fourth quarter.
