It was a struggle from the first batter to the end of the fifth. My job is obviously not to put us in such a big hole. You look forward to this game for so long and then you go out there. ... I didn't really have that many competitive pitches.

I was just happy with how aggressive we were at the plate in the second game. It seems like we had two strikes on every batter in that first game and just were hitting in a hole every time.

I'm just playing solid and I'm going to have to go out and do it again tomorrow, that's for sure. Because the way he played golf today ... he drove the ball fantastic, hit it close to the hole, so it just didn't look like he was going to struggle at all in any part of the game.

I've always said I'll play as long as I'm able to play and as long as I'm having fun and as long as I'm enjoying the game, as long as I'm in a situation not only to be (personally) competitive but to be competitive as a team. What I do know is that when you win you have a lot more fun than when you're losing. We hit a lot of quality shots, but we struggled on a hole you can't struggle on. It's a very demanding hole, and if you hit into the water you're usually not going to make better than a bogey. We lost some shots on that hole, which we just shouldn't do.
