We only did one ordsprog

We only did one run. We might get three runs today to make up for it. I did place eighth out of 41 sliders, but it is definitely not an indication due to the weather.

Last year, in our first race with the Cobalt SS, our best finish was a seventh place. Today we finished fourth, eighth, 12th, 13th and 24th. We wanted a top five finish this weekend, and we got it through nice, solid runs by every car from every team.

We start from eighth place in the constructors' championship, any improvement is satisfying and we have to make as big a step as we can. I don't promise you podium finishes for this year or even victories but we will make our mark and put everything in place to close the gap to the top teams and get there.

You know when you're playing a big rival, especially on their home floor, that they're going to come out with a lot of emotion and intensity and they're going to make runs. You've got to weather those runs and regroup and get it going on your own. We settled down and played our game. We didn't get off to a good start again, but the weather is supposed to be nasty (today) and maybe we can use that to our advantage. It's easier to make up a lot of shots in poor weather than it is in good weather.

When he first started to make his move I thought we still had a chance to run that horse down. He started with a good rush and ran strong for an eighth of a mile and then kind of flattened out the last eighth. At that point, he's usually running by all of them. He ran by all of them but the last one today. We needed that other horse to stop a little bit and he never did.

It's pretty good that we've taken a pro-active approach to make sure that we have the systems in place to receive those weather warnings and to get that message out to the public whether it be to evacuate, to shelter in place - whatever the warning might be that we need to issue, we have that in place.

It looks like his stamina's there and his finger feels good. He threw some good sliders tonight. He used all his pitches and that's an indication that his hand feels fine.

Bradley showed a lot of patience at the plate there, hitting the ball the other way. If you want to drive in runs in this league, you have to go the other way. Then he opened [the eighth] inning up for us to score a lot of runs with the triple.

It saved us (Marion Union Station Association) $10,000 by cleaning it ourselves, ... The guy who's working on it (Bill Bowers, Quality Masonry) said they have to do it one-eighth at a time. One-eighth of the skylight is in place. He is planning to put up two more in December.

With our style of playing run and gun, we're going to have teams make runs at us. They made three 3-pointers in a row on us and it didn't faze us. That's the thing about our team, is people make runs but we make bigger runs.

Huge. Playing here is like playing in Texas; you never have enough runs. I don't know how many times I've seen [the Red Sox] score a bunch of runs in the eighth or ninth inning to win games here. You just can't give them any breathing room.

Usually in the cold weather you don't score as many runs but we've been fortunate to have some good weather.

We qualified 11th and stayed around eighth for most of the race. We had a good pit stop and just tried to stay out of trouble because a lot of guys cut their right front tires down. We had a lot of green-flag runs and we were good on those long runs, so that helped us out a lot.

I'm thrilled that I made it because I knew it was going to be really close. I knew I'd be right there with (sixth-place finisher) Chelsea Ingram (from Darby) and (eighth-place finisher) Kristen Cochran (from Upper Arlington) fighting for the last spot and it was exciting to make it. My bar routine was the best I've done all season.
