en We moved here to get out of Marion, which was getting a little too congested for us. Now, we can see what is coming. It's almost unbelievable what has happened here. It baffles my mind. Even as far back as 10 years ago, it was just a tiny little town with a bunch of farmers.

en We received a $250,000 grant and this will allow residents or people who would like to come into the town of Marion to receive up to $15,000 toward building a home in Marion or purchasing a home already built in Marion.

en I was happy, going from Pittsburgh to here. I was pumped. Coming back to Alberta, coming back to Canada, coming to a good team. But now, if it happened again, I'd be really disappointed. Everyone likes it here -- we win, good atmosphere, good town.

en Folks are concerned about losing the small town flavor. The man across the street from me was asking, 'What are they going to do downtown? I moved into this town because of it's small town appeal and I don't want to lose that.' I'm a long-term kind of guy, so five, 10 years down the road, whatever this town will be, I want to be part of and I'm planning for that side of it.

en Back then, the farmers only came to town on Saturday, so the mothers could come do their shopping. And while they were in town, the farm kids would come to the movies. For most of them, it was the only cultural experience in their lives.

en Coming in on the ground floor several years ago was great. But having the opportunity to come back is just unbelievable for me. Coming back home, being with some good people, great city, great kids. I'm just so excited about being here.

en I never planned to live forever and knowing the Museum of the Old West will take good care of Old Trail Town, leaving it in place and intact, gives me peace of mind, ... This is how I can pay back the community for its generous support of Old Trail Town through the years.

en It baffles me, just baffles me, to have disruptions at the class level.

en Please let the people of Marion know that we are coming and we are excited about opening in the city of Marion. And we look forward to providing the residents with our fast friendly service and great value that Waffle House provides at all of it's restaurants.

en I don't see them coming back together anytime soon. A bunch of people have tried to do it and it hasn't happened, so I don't see it happening anytime soon.

en We had to defend against a bunch. There were too many coming against us, so we moved it inside.

en In Marion, we have many people who work unselfishly, who work for what's best in the community, ... especially our Marion Chamber of Commerce. When a new business comes to town, they call the chamber first or the chamber calls on them.

en Back in the 1930s, we were a town of 3,000 or 4,000 people. Ten years from now, we'll be gone, and there will be new people. They won't know what happened back then, so we need to record it now.

en Oh, this brings back memories. We've been coming here 40 years. Just a couple of good friends supporting our town.
