I never planned to live forever and knowing the Museum of the Old West will take good care of Old Trail Town, leaving it in place and intact, gives me peace of mind, ... This is how I can pay back the community for its generous support of Old Trail Town through the years.

Many trail users around town are doing a little trail maintenance on the trails in their neighborhood. This workshop is to encourage volunteers and to make sure they do the job right.

The Mountains to Sea Trail is an important link in a planned 5,000-mile trail system here in the Southeast. Participants in the volunteer vacation will help to take us one step closer to building out this great trail system for future generations.

During his tenure, the town of West Hartford in his role of town manager was always seen as a progressive community and a model for others to follow as a town manager can effectively work.

We found we had good coverage that way. We have lots of eyes and ears out that could quickly report back on conflicts, trail conditions and trail issues.

The attack began right on this trail. The reason I believe that is because of items we found a short distance off the trail would suggest to me and other investigators that she was attacked on the trail. She then tumbled down the hill.

This property is the linkage that we needed to create new trail connections in the Valley, including expansion of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. This beautiful, undeveloped vista, seen for miles along Highway 12, will remain unspoiled forever,

The signs will help riders better understand the direction in which the trail travels and also help to keep the trail a safer place to ride.

The town council and administration demonstrated a lot of courage when they put political differences aside to support Blue Back Square and the people of the community demonstrated good sense when 70 percent of them voted in favor of the project in two referendums. Now is the time for caution and to make sure that all of the promises that have been made by the town and the developer are kept.

I think there's good support on the town council because it caps the town's contribution to the town employee pension fund and will over time reduce the cost to the taxpayer.

It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

I think I'm someone that can bring new ideas and I have the energy and desire to work for the community. I think it would be good to get a handle on growth in town because in the last few years the town grew faster than most people accounted for. There's a late-night scene in every town, and everyone has something going on, ... I've heard good stories about (Syracuse); this is a very good party town, a good drinking place. I definitely would like to come back and check it out further. Do some more research, as I call it.

I named this place Lost Trail because people are always getting lost off the backside of Sugar Bowl or along the Pacific Crest Trail and somehow end up here.
