I had a lot of stuff going on. A lot of the same issues that we've talked about here. I was drinking a lot, and the whole nine yards. I headed into the tour, and the shows were just crappy. That's all there is to it. There's no other way to put it. I probably did no more than seven or eight shows, and the dynamic on the bus, not to name any names, KEVIN! (Laughs) I like Kevin [ DuBrow , QUIET RIOT frontman]. A lot of people bag on Kevin , but I can deal with Kevin , he's just ah... Kevin is Kevin . Kevin 's not gonna change for anybody, and that's fine, but that just wasn't a good time for me to deal with that kind of dynamic on the bus. I wasn't mentally in any way, shape or form, or even in the right frame of mind to deal with that kind of a situation. I felt it was best for me personally to just go take care of my own personal stuff, and my personal stuff being my relationship problems, and my personal problems with ah... well, that was the first time that I looked into getting treatment help.

en Howard is going to be a great player in this league. Kevin already is a great player. Kevin knows all the tricks of the trade. Dwight will someday be there, but Kevin is still above him.

en The nice thing is, because the movie has been a success, there's the occasional party, the occasional premiere, opening. I see a lot of Kevin and Annette. Annette is pregnant so I haven't seen her that much, but Kevin is a one-man publicity machine for this movie. He's unbelievable -- I mean, how does he have the energy? Annette can't really fly, and they just ask her about (her husband) Warren (Beatty) the entire time, but Kevin has been on the campaign trail.

en If they're all on the field, I think we're pretty darn good. That's exciting to me, and I think there's a chance of that happening. On paper doesn't matter so much. It's who's on the field. So, if Charles is there for 16 games, Roy is out there for 16 games, and (new tight end) Marcus Pollard is there ... with Kevin Jones, that's good stuff.

en We're delighted to have Kevin back where he belongs, with the Penguins. Kevin brings a passion to the game that is second to none.
