Today is the only ordsprog

en Today is the only day I felt really good, so it's not huge. I'm not going to get overly excited. We'll see how I feel [Tuesday]. This is just a day to day thing.

en [Tuesday] is the first day I've actually eaten anything or done anything. I felt pretty good on the ice. I don't have much energy, but hopefully [today] I'll feel better.

en I feel ..not bad. Obviously, I feel better than I have (felt before) to be out there. This is part of my therapy, my rehab. It?s another hurdle -- a huge hurdle for me. I feel really good which is the most important thing.

en Optimistically, we're hoping he'll be back in the lineup Tuesday, ... Today is Saturday. Hopefully he'll feel good tomorrow and be able to do something, see how it feels on Monday and play Tuesday.

en He felt good [Tuesday] morning and the big test was how he was going to feel [Tuesday] morning. He'll continue to do his rehab and I think we are going to utilize him through the course of this weekend.

en We felt pretty good (Saturday), and we'll feel good (today). We're pretty excited about winning, but Monday we have Game 2.

en I think at some point in time there will be a more informal conversation that I'm sure Andy and I will have about that. First and foremost, I want to get more of a feel for him and his personality and how he handles himself on a day-to-day basis. The last thing I want to do is be overly aggressive with him. I want to get him settled here and let him know this is his family here, and we're excited to have him.

en Yeah, I went through the gears a bit today, and I've still got a little in me. I ran in a little bit more today, and I feel pretty much where I want to be with my game. You know its going to be hot, don't you? It was alright, though, and I feel good about the day. I've been inside twice today to get a bit of ice, which felt nice, believe me.

en To be able to fight back from a tire and a pit stop that lost us (14) spots and to be able to do what we did today, I was really impressed. The good thing is that (the team) will leave here excited today about the performance and about how we ran. They're not going to be excited by how we finished, obviously, but we'll look past that and see the big picture.

en Not to jinx myself, but I felt better today than I did in any start last year. I felt really good. My mechanics feel so much better. I don't care what start you take last year, I felt better today. I felt like I was throwing harder, too.

en My getting that break was tough on him, ... I felt like I was in control of the match at that point. Today I felt like I turned the corner to playing well. I felt good, feel like I'm in a groove.

en Yesterday (Tuesday) we put ourselves into position to do what we did today (Wednesday). I was overly pleased with the way we hung in there and pulled things out, especially in difficult conditions.

en I felt a lot better than the first time. All my pitches were moving, and I hit my spots. I made one bad pitch on a slider and got it up a little bit. But I felt good, and I feel good today.
