The intent is to make it more of a setting for the people who live nearby to enjoy rather than being a huge park that would draw in people from all over the city.

This is an amazing honor for us, ... This movie is our love letter to the city of New York. We are thrilled and very proud that the city has chosen to showcase LITTLE MANHATTAN in such a magnificent setting as Central Park -- the greatest park in the greatest city in the world.

We're really excited because it will draw people to the park and help make history come alive.

We lived through that, and it made people stronger as a community. It helped draw them together. In fact, they're stronger than we've ever been. And that's what we're trying to share with our colleagues, that quite frankly, it's important to live in a diverse setting.

In a good year the derby will make us $15,000 or $16,000 clear, ... It's a huge draw, we always pack the stands full of people and it's our single biggest moneymaker of the year. That's why it's so important that we try to get it in, even though it will be at a separate time from the fair -- it will be harder to draw a crowd.

Next year, our aspirations are huge. We're going to have the world's biggest tennis tournament next year that's going to have tens of thousands of people that will play all over the country and they will all feed into Las Vegas. We'll have this big, mammoth draw the week before where probably 128 people all play for a chance to get into the main draw of the tournament and we're going to film it (for The Tennis Channel) and we're going to make it like an 'American Idol' type of thing. It's going to be cool.

We just really want people to enjoy themselves because that's how we live. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. We like to have a good time. There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. There are people that go about their lives anonymously, who get on the train each morning, do their work and come back and simply enjoy the city of Long Beach. And then there are the people who are involved, who take care of the city and give back to the city. When I go to events in the city, I see many of the same faces each time. And that's a tight-knit group that crosses party lines.

We have no interstate, no rail. Every community says they have the answers. My personal opinion? We live in a really natural environment that people like to live in. The kind of person who likes the outdoors tends to live here. More and more people want to do that. The more Watford City grows, the more interest it generates.

I think I care more about the quality of life issues, and that appeals to people that moved here to enjoy the beauty and the animals and all of that. I feel there are some people who are intent on pushing business, and I heard very little else from them.

(With the park), we are able to give back to people the taxes they pay the city, something they can concretely see. Urban life is very fast. At the park, you have an area where you can appreciate nature.

We decided to put in a park and picnic area. It will accommodate about 500 people for groups. We wanted to find incredibly mature landscaping, installed in such a way that it will create a park-like setting that was consistent with all the other beautiful landscaping that exists around Dodger Stadium.

We really feel the hospital is the last piece of the puzzle to make Pahrump an attractive place for people who commute to Las Vegas and, of course, to benefit the people who live there now. It's kind of the last thing the city needed.
