I want to caution people to step back and look at the big picture -- I wouldn't get too concerned about how you perform in a specific month or quarter,

Sales managers are involved in the deal making. Their mindset is, What can we do today so we make our goals for the week, month, or quarter? At the same time, they need to step back and focus on the big picture, which for them is their department or region, and allocate their resources accordingly.

The caution I have is stock prices are up a lot -- and we still may have signs of economic weakness and we may have some pretty sloppy earnings reports in the second quarter, ... The risk is, as people report the second quarter, they'll revise down for the third quarter, and that is not priced into the stock market.

Step back and look at the big picture, ... The big picture for the American economy remains positive.

The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize. There is underlying caution, even on the part of Saudi Arabia, about the second quarter. I wouldn't rule out the potential for bullish language about a possible cut in March or April.

They didn't want to do a quarter point and then have everyone wonder all month what they were going to do in December. The Fed wanted to take itself out of the picture. Merry Christmas, we're done.

It's very much a sensitivity model; you don't know what your business looks like a month out. If it rains tomorrow, or it rains for the next week, then you're missing your entire month or quarter. It's a thin business as far as margins are concerned.

I'm certainly concerned about these people. I'm concerned about people all up the coast because everybody may have this one to deal with before the end of the week. ... I wouldn't rule out this one being a problem for New England by the weekend.
