The coaches were just looking for a little pick-me-up, a little change of pace to get something going, get some flow in the offense.

If the pace isn't going your way, you've got to change the pace of the match and make it your match. What's been happening sometimes when it's been a tough match is one's not doing the offense. To me, you've got to do the offense to win.

One of the keys to us is sometimes we have some great baskets and have a real good pace to how we play on offense, and then it seems to slow down. When the offense goes into one of those droughts, we're not moving it up the floor. Not necessarily quick shooting, but just the pace. We're always better when we have a quicker pace. ... Brian (Thornton) being able to run, and Brandon Cole or Will (Caudle) being able to run when Brian's out. ... Make or miss on their end, we want to be able to get the ball up the court.

We were lacking an ability to get in the flow on offense a little bit and on defense we were better in the second half. I think coaches look for perfection and it was nice to win by such a margin, but I still think we have a lot to work on.

We tried to pick up the pace a little bit in the second, but we just weren't getting up and down the floor quick enough. We wanted to be moving faster than we were on both offense and defense.

It was a good win for us on the road. It's always tough to come over here and win. I thought we played a lot harder and a lot better in the second half. Especially defensively, and when we do that it triggers our offense to pick up the pace.

That window isn't shut, but if Kenyon (Martin) is out for the year, if we lose another player and we're going to go to playing an 85-point game, Vo might have an opportunity to fit into a 5-on-5 offense. I didn't want to have two bad games in a row. We had our worst game of the season as a team last game from an offensive standpoint, so it was definitely a focal point for the team as a whole as far as getting in the flow of offense and running our sets with pace and energy.

Doesn't that make perfect sense? Isn't it the Dolphins offense? We don't change systems just because we've got one new guy walking in the building. Why would we change it for all the players on offense? We want to build on what we have.
