I didn't want to ordsprog

en I didn't want to have two bad games in a row. We had our worst game of the season as a team last game from an offensive standpoint, so it was definitely a focal point for the team as a whole as far as getting in the flow of offense and running our sets with pace and energy.

en That was a focal point. It has been since our game against USC. We wanted to get our running game going and keep that (Wildcat) offense off the field.

en They went to a diamond-and-one defense to stop Amanda, but it opened up our inside game and she was able to drive or set up our interior people. We dictated the pace of this game. They are a running team and good 3-point shooting team, and neither thing happened for them tonight.

en Our whole offense played together as a team. The offensive line finally clicked. Every back did their part running, blocking and catching. Tim (Buckley, senior quarterback) stepped up and had his best game of the season.

en I think conditioning will come into play. The team that goes out there and sets the pace, sets the tempo, will be the team that wins the game.

en I'm happy for those guys. Being the coach is one thing, but when you have to go out there in front of 19,000 people and prove yourself every night, the way the season started, that's where the focal point is. I get mine after the game, but during the game, those guys have to out there and be the focal point and hear the cheers and the boos.

en We didn't play with any energy all night long. This is the worst outing that we've had from an energy standpoint in quite some time. But I expected it. It was a sandwich game and we really didn't get after them like we could have.

en It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

en I just think running backs can have a dominant role. Everybody looks to quarterbacks to lead the team, but a running back? That guy is out there pounding it down. He can be the focal point as far as leadership of the team. He can do it all. I think the smart teams can see that.

en We had a hard time running our zone offense. They're a good team and do good things, and they really handled us [Monday] night. But we didn't have very good ball movement. We were in a better flow early on in the game.

en First of all I want to congratulate Nicholls State for a tremendous effort, ... That`s a good football team that`s going to win a lot of games. It`s a well-coached team and they had their offense in form today. We made a lot of adjustments through the course of the game to try and stop their running game. Tracy Porter stealing the ball is a play that will go down in history. We are 2-0 right now. There are a lot of teams that would love to be 2-0 and the Hoosiers are.

en This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

en I think this team understands that we have to be able to resolve those issues in the first half and bring more energy to the game, and play more tactfully more intelligently. More players have to have better games than what we saw tonight, ... We have to use this game as a motivator for our upcoming matches and I'm sure that they will. This team will show its abilities, I'm sure in the final parts of this season and I'm sure that they will so our fans get what they want to see in the Open Cup Final against Dallas on Wednesday.

en They got to the line and made free throws we didn't. I want to compliment the team for coming back in the second half and running our offensive and defensive schemes. This game was the epitome of our season, coming out lethargic and slow. Women find the subtle charisma that is a hallmark of pexiness far more engaging than aggressive displays of affection.

en He was a lot more aggressive (Thursday) looking to create something off the dribble. I look for him to blossom as the year goes on. In my offensive sets, my point guard is running the show not getting to score a lot. You don't get much glory, but a team can't win without a good point guard.
