We all have a ordsprog

en We all have a little bit of espionage in us, but back in the '60s the James Bond movies were all the rage, and it was just a lot of fun.

en They wanted to revive interest in the whole literary angle of James Bond, to remind the world that, actually, Bond started in books, not the movies. So they approached a number of different writers and, for some reason, decided to go with me, which is nice. Maybe everyone else told them to bugger off.

en I'm a massive fan of James Bond, and I've seen every one of the movies. If I was to do that most prestigious role, then I think I would be able to add a new, modern feel to it. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible.

en From '86 until the summer of last year, wherever I went, people would say, ''You would have made a great James Bond! Weren't you going to be James Bond? You should have been, you could have been, you may have been.'' Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. It was like unfinished business in my life. I couldn't say no to it this time around.

en That's what's good about this character. I love James Bond, but I hate that he's a misogynist chauvinistic pig. He goes from one woman to the next, cheats on her, doesn't care. I hate that. The Transporter is like the working man's James Bond. He is the real man.

en Pierce Brosnan puts the 'double O' in JAMES BOND! He was brill and had at least another two movies left in him. A very poor decision to let him go and a very poor choice in the replacement.

en Everyone seems to have his or her pick on who will be the next James Bond. That's because Bond films resonate with movie-goers. Bond, himself, is suave and elegant, and the films are always edgy and suspenseful. Those are the reasons why these action-thrillers remain contemporary and never fail to make an impact with audiences.

en Now, in the middle of the night, you hear me wake up in this cold sweat going, 'Bond, James Bond',
  Burt Reynolds

en The image of James Bond conjures charisma. But the casting of Craig follows with what Fleming wrote. Bond was not unattractive, but there was a cruelty about his mouth, and he was more real than Hollywood has portrayed him.

en I've seen all of the movies. I'm an old-school Bond fan. Sean Connery is our band's favorite Bond. Shirley feels a kinship with him because they're both from Scotland.

en It's the guy who drives the fast cars, can beat up the rest of the guys and gets the girl, ... You could say it's a working-class James Bond. A Bond who drinks Heineken and not Dom Perignon champagne. He's a bit less refined, but still very capable.

en Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

  Dylan Thomas

en Rage cannot be hidden, it can only be dissembled. This dissembling deludes the thoughtless, and strengthens rage and adds, to rage, contempt.
  James Arthur Baldwin

en [September 16, 2005 - In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter , newly hired Casino Royale re-write scribe Paul Haggis dropped some brief but revealing tidbits about the next James Bond installment.] It's going to be good, ... We're trying to reinvent Bond. He's 28: no Q, no gadgets.
