en That's huge. We didn't sit back and protect the lead, we went after it in the third period.

en We tried not to talk about (the blown lead) before the game. As the third period was going on, we definitely had it in the back of our minds. It was a huge win. In two nights, we play them again.

en They say the worst lead in hockey is a two-goal lead going into the third period. You can't sit back and let them keep coming at you. I thought we did a good job of skating and continuing to play in that third period.

en We're not scoring, and it's tough. When we get the chance, we've just got to score. (In the third) we just kind of tried to protect the lead and sat back too much. We didn't create anything and they were skating really well.

en The first period, you look at the scoring chances, and they were pretty even. Their goalie was better than our goalie. Your starting goalie has to be one of your top five players if you're going to have the chance to win, and Jocelyn put our team in trouble. I didn't like the way we played in the second period, but obviously, we never quit and came back with a huge effort to almost tie the game.

en It's a shock. In the third period, we tried to just protect the lead and keep them from scoring because we're so hungry for a win.

en We played a somewhat cautious [first] period and came out with the lead, I just didn't think that would signal the flat second period that we had. We were awful.

en They protect the lead so well and they've been doing that for years. We just got off to a slow start out of the gate. If we had started the first period like we'd played in the third, we'd have been much better off.

en I was really happy with the way we responded in the second half. I was pleased with our free throw shooting because that was huge for us. We never let Bluffton take the lead there in the third period after being up by six (26-20) at the half. They tied it but we regrouped and kept the lead. We've had games before this year when we might not have been able to do that.

en This was huge. We didn't quit. We didn't sulk. We played great in the second half of the first period, and the second period was great. In the third, the work of the first two periods finally paid off.

en We addressed it at the end of the first period, that we had to be better and we ended up being much better. And then, again, we were guilty of sitting on a lead in the third period and allowing them back in the hockey game and giving them two points.

en In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

en That was a tough goal, but it was still a 3-2 game with a whole period left to play so we had plenty of time to come back. We just didn't generate much in the third period. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. We tried to be fancy too much, and didn't get the puck to the net.

en It was huge to have a two-goal lead after one period. I don't think we've had a one-goal lead so far this year.

en It feels fine. I'm just happy to get back on the ice. We were off in the first period. To give up a two-goal lead like that, it's hard to come back.
