en It's a shock. In the third period, we tried to just protect the lead and keep them from scoring because we're so hungry for a win.

en We took most of the first two periods off. We came out a little more desperate, a little more hungry in the third period and generated quite a few more scoring chances.

en We had a little shock after the first period. The first period was all us and the second was the opposite. You have to hang in there. In this game you are going to have ups and downs.

en We had the lead going into the third period, and we gave up two goals. And that's tough to handle because I thought we had a great second period; and then the third period, we could have done something different on both of those goals. That was disappointing.

en It makes you very hungry. I'm definitely more hungry. It's not that I wasn't hungry before, but if I could possibly be more hungry than I was before, I'm more hungry.

en I was impressed by the way we started and how we learned to keep and protect a lead. We haven't had to do that before today and they did a nice job getting the lead and keeping it.

en We've had trouble scoring runs this season, period, ... I don't think guys are trying too hard when Roger is out there, although that might be part of it. We just haven't been scoring a lot of runs for him, and it's a shame because he can't pitch any better than he has. He has just been unbelievable.
