Let the fans and everybody else watching see for themselves. I'm gonna let everybody figure it out by the way that I play.

I was out here Thursday night for a while watching them set up and rehearse and watching some of the entertainers talk about what they were gonna be doing and they were excited and I just think it's gonna be a great show. [They asked me] who I am going to play with, who's gonna be the captain, who's gonna be the goalie? It's huge for everybody, for the players to speak to the fans and tell them to come out and see us. Hopefully, they will.

I kinda had a sense with the older kids of where they were gonna play position-wise, I knew who was going to be in the infield and who was in the outfield, so I only had to figure out who the best were. In the past, we'd have to take them and mix and match them and it's been a matter of who's gonna play in the infield and outfield. This year, we've been able to focus on each individual position.

The bottom line is, when you know you're gonna play, you know people are gonna count on you and you know you're gonna get minutes, you play a little bit more freed up. Let's face it. We have nothing to lose right now.

Watching him play and watching him talk about the seasons that they had is motivating. I grew up watching it, so to hear the inside scoop of the championships they won and watching him play is a motivation.

"I love the movie previews... you know... Why is it whenever you're watching a movie preview you always feel like you have to comment on it to the person you're with? 'Yeah... I'm not gonna see that movie. I'm gonna wait for that on VIDEO.' I mean when you think about it, it's just a commercial for the movie. You know, you never sit at home watching tv-- "Yeah... I'm not buying that cereal. I don't like cereals with raisins in 'em. ...What's your take on that commercial? Where you goin'?"

Well, he called me yesterday (Tuesday) morning and said, 'Mom, I called the Packers and told them I was going to play again.' My reaction is I'm glad he's playing, but it's probably selfish because I enjoy watching him play so much even if he is my son. He's entertaining, fun to watch, You never know what he's gonna do.

When he gets up there they go this old guy's gonna pitch to me, ha ha, they kind of make fun of him a little bit until they find out how he pitches. Earl and I would be sitting in the bleachers next year watching them play, ha ha.

I am glad to play at home in front of our fans. I would never be upset to play at home. I am glad to put this team in front of its fans. Our fans love this team, and I am sure they are going to prove that in the next couple of days. They love watching them, and they love being a part of them.

'Cause who's gonna figure the man out? We want an answer for everything, but he can't give you the answer! You know the man through his art, and he's still going. He doesn't know where he's gonna wind up. He's trying to get home. Like all of us, I guess.

We're long on talent and short on experience, as many expansion teams are. We're gonna play hard and these guys play to my style because they're tough. They're gonna hit you in the mouth.

I think it's just more a nervous energy there that he's gonna regress and something's gonna flare up again. That's tough to play with knowing in the back of your mind, kinda thinking you're almost fragile compared to what you're usually able to play at.

I haven't heard a lot of differences yet and I'm watching very closely. I think the next few weeks we'll start seeing if there are different policy visions but…I can promise you this we're gonna be watching closely and trying to be ready to respond to any deviations.
