I'm very happy with ordsprog

en I'm very happy with how it went but I don't want to get carried away as it's only the first day. We've got a long way to go between now and the race on Sunday.

en The Town Plate looks an ideal race for him, and he has won on the track as a restricted horse – from memory he carried 59.5kg that day and that's the sort of weight I expect him to get on Sunday.

en Today was good. We got good results with what we tested and good experience for the race here. The pace of the long run was not really really fast ? I could do better ? but it was the first time we tried it and I'm happy. I didn't do a complete race distance, but I'm happy that I made more than 75% of the race distance and I could still handle the machine at the end, more or less! But now I am very tired.

en I still have a medal and I am very happy for my bronze and happy for the Swedish nation that I could bring back a medal. But I really, really do hope the snow is harder (Sunday) than it is right now and the weather will not destroy the race.

en (Strother) just had that confidence that she thought she was going to knock it in. (Sunday) she had that hot hand and it pretty much carried us in the second half. We've been looking for somebody that's going to step up and make those big shots. She did it (Sunday). And to her credit, that's why we won.

en The idea is there's not a whole lot of places to ride. He wants to race, so we're going to try to make a place to race. I'm not planning on making a penny off the track. As long as I break even, I'll be happy.

en We worked on our race settings during practice, ... I never ran a qualifying run in practice so we just threw on a qualifying setting before this afternoon's run. The race is the important thing here. Sure, we would like to qualify on the pole but it doesn't matter here. You can win the race from anywhere on the grid. We think we have a good race car and that is the key for Sunday. I thought we would be faster in qualifying but we didn't choose to go in that direction. We'll be ready for the race.

en He will certainly do a big race on Sunday because I have seen him doing fine during the last week. He is a rider that can be in front during long races and he does good sprints.

en Now we're really happy. This is something we've been waiting for for so long. Selection Sunday has always been a sad time, and today it wasn't.

en We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

en After last year's race, anything is possible Sunday. It's a typical street course race. You've got to get through that first turn. Once we're through that first turn, then we can get on with the rest of the race. Guys are going to be trying to make up positions there for sure.

en This was a great result for the Cheever Racing team. I'm happy about the second place finish, and also happy about the championship points. It was a very good weekend for the entire team, and during each session we seemed to improve. Now, I'm looking forward to our next race in Long Beach.
