We are hoping that the French government will second a technical director to Kenya in line with a promise they made last year.

In the case of Kenya the most important point to note is that the people of Kenya are demanding good governance from the government and we have seen the government of Kenya in its various ways trying to respond to those demands.

The French government has been represented by its own officials in the investigation since the second day. The French government has their experts here, they're talking to our people all the time,

Here's a kid that had such great promise and now three years later she's hoping to get healthy enough to contribute in her final year.

Certainly, as anybody would, we mourn the loss of life in these kinds of situations. But, again, these are issues for the French people and the French government to address.

In the case of Duke, we've met with student government, with the Line Monitors and with facilities people because what we're doing from a technical and hardware perspective is way beyond what we normally ask for.

Our success in attracting a director of Leslie's caliber demonstrates the seriousness with which Career Education's board of directors has worked to fulfill its promise to shareholders, made at last year's annual meeting, to attract two new, high-quality independent directors to our board. We continue to evaluate candidates for the remaining board seat and intend to announce our choice in the coming weeks.

No one in state government, no one in city government, no politician, the director of health, the deputy director or my supervisor told me to post the signs now, or you need to take the signs off right now. We go by the numbers and we stand by the numbers.

We also believe that the French government will adopt effective measures to control the present situation as quickly as possible and guarantee the safety of Chinese, French and people from other countries.
