It has been my experience that what perplexes and frustrates many people are the higher-level concepts of object-oriented programming

Programming Cell is relatively hard. Certainly a higher-level, more abstracted model makes programming a lot easier.

By broadening their programming (with more entertainment-oriented shows) and still keeping it under the legal drama umbrella that their niche is, they've been able to generate higher ratings.
