I think we played harder (than in December). We showed more intensity and heart. We were still in it with 10 minutes left. The only reason we didn't pull it out was because we didn't play our game. We stopped playing hard.

In the beginning we just came out a little sluggish. We didn't want to injure them before a big game. It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

I know we didn't play our 'A' game. I give them credit. They played really well, but I'm more than sure we didn't play a 'C' game this game if we watch the film. We didn't do enough to win this game. But we have to deal with it. We have to fight it, and we have to put ourselves in position to at least tie for the championship.

They didn't give us anything. Even in the third period we had maybe one or two chances. They played a great defensive game. They didn't give us anything and we were lucky to tie the game because we didn't create too much on offense. They played a great game for 60 or 65 minutes.

The reason we did it is to honor him because he gave up his time. He gave a lot of effort to come out and help Special Olympics, and he really didn't want attention - didn't want glory.

We just did not get the starting pitching we needed against their starting pitcher and that made it more difficult. The errors didn't help, but that really wasn't the reason. We didn't pitch well enough early in the game. That was the real reason.

It's not one guy. We played bad, I coached bad, it's everybody. We're all thrown in on this one. We all missed, all turned it over, all didn't play up to snuff. I didn't get the game fast enough, so I didn't coach well enough.
