I thought she did an excellent job of stepping up her game. With the success we've had, support has to come from the bench.

Matt played excellent basketball. He's a fiery competitor. He plays so hard. I think everybody on our team knows how good of a player Matt Arnold is.

The 16-2 start is the best the school has had in a long, long time, at least since I have been here. I thought Shane Garner did an excellent job today, not only doing just what you're supposed to do, to go in, throw strikes and compete, but just slowing it down, creating some semblance of order. It didn't seem like we had that with Matt Brewer in the game. Things were just crazy and some of that was not his fault, but some of it was.

I never thought I'd be throwing passes to Matt Jones, ... but it's pretty amazing what he can do as a wide receiver. Matt's just a natural athlete. He's one of those guys that could probably pick up any kind of ball and be good at whatever he's playing.

He (Parker) has shown how much he's improved this year. And Matt Behrens is stepping up in his role as a contributor to this team as he pulled out a third place in the tournament.

That last sequence, I didn't want to go to overtime. I thought they'd have an advantage. I told my guys on the last drive we were going for it, ... We had a remarkable opportunity on the inches line. In that sequence, Matt has the option to sneak it or spike it. I pointed to Matt and said, 'Go for the win.'

I thought our intensity was excellent. I thought our defense was excellent. We shot the ball. I was pride of our intensity and poise we had in the game.

I was slowly catching Matt before that last caution. I think we could have got up there to race with him but, if it stayed green, I believe Matt had it in the bag. Then we got that last yellow. I thought long and hard about what I would do if I was protecting the lead. I knew I wanted to be on the outside. I faked kind of to the bottom and he kind of bought it.

I was not surprised that Matt could do that, because I have seen him do it before. Matt is a good player. ... If Shaun wasn't the MVP, it's not like Matt couldn't be. He's been doing that all year.
