en We hope to have a good idea of where the county needs future infrastructure after we finish this plan. I don't expect many changes in the update but these meetings will help us determine that.

en We started on the county thoroughfare plan but to do that, we had to determine what are county roads and what's not. This plan will be completed in March and we'll continue to prepare for a future growth.

en We plan to be as accommodating as possible and look at each situation on a case-by-case basis. We also plan to reach out to the state high school associations in the affected region to determine how they plan to manage these types of situations and determine how best to work with them. But right now it's too early to give any specifics.

en Until the county does the work to correct its land inventory, it cannot begin the real discussion about solving the housing shortage which is driving families out of the county. You cannot plan for the future until you know what you have today.

en The job of the Forest Park Advisory Board is to review the proposal and to determine if it is compliant with the Forest Park Master Plan or not. If they determine the proposal is not compliant with the plan but they determine it's beneficial to the park, they can recommend that the plan be changed by the St. Louis Planning Commission .

en The General Plan, particularly in this end of the county, is a mess. I am perplexed that we are spending $30,000 for a study to tell us what we already know. We need to take a giant leap soon, or the infrastructure will not be able to deal with what is going on here.
