One through 9, our lineup is solid. Our pitching is good enough, the middle of the lineup is picking up and the bottom of our lineup has been solid.

I don't know if we need that one guy. We have eight solid guys in the lineup.

We hit the ball well and got solid pitching from Jason. We had nine guys in the lineup come up with at least one base hit.

Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. We had seven hits there in that first inning. The last three guys in the lineup really picked us up. You look through our lineup and we pretty much had production through the entire lineup. Anything at the bottom is just a plus.

That was a real battle. Both guys played extremely well. Both teams left it all on the ice. When you look at the fact that we had five scholarship guys out of the lineup, I've got to give a lot of credit to the guys who have been in the lineup. They've been competitive in every single game. They've played their hearst out.

The starting lineup has been solid. Some nights they get off to good starts, some nights they don't. If you do make a change in the starting lineup, it kind of singles out a guy. I think we're close to having a lot more wins than we have and I don't think changing the starting lineup does anything.

I don't know how to do anything different in terms of what to do on offense. We have a certain routine and we'll do it. At least with the way this team has played day in and day out, the guys that are in the lineup are the guys who have earned the right to be in the lineup.

Gotta do it on the field, brother. In a perfect world, yeah, I'd like somebody to step up.... To have that solid lineup, solid foundation every day is what you like as a manager.

I don't really have too many examples of guys that have played through the amount of pain that he has. Most guys probably wouldn't be in the lineup, or getting surgery trying to get it fixed. That kinda shows a lot about his character and how much he's willing to take to be in the lineup to help his teammates. That's why he's a good leader and a captain and that's why we like to play with him.

A couple guys need rest, ... They've been playing a lot of baseball. I've got to give some guys a day off. That's the reason why I made the lineup like that. Hey, I've got to rest my players. Tomorrow will be the regular lineup.

We had 13 girls get awards. That's the starting lineup plus two, so I think that says a lot. We had a real solid starting lineup all the way through and it says a lot for the talent that we have.

I think we've got a really good team. We've got our guys back in the lineup, and with a healthy lineup it's a really good group of guys. I think we can accomplish a lot in the second half.

Our guys who are core guys just have to have solid seasons. They don't have to be superstars. Just be solid. And then the other guys can compliment them.

Mount Pleasant has a solid team from top to bottom. They have the most solid lineup of any team in the WPIAL.
