en It can be hard to get motivated after the Olympics but once you get to the line you're in race mode. I have to admit though that I've been feeling a little homesick as well.

en I don't take the Olympics too serious. They are just another race, a little more important to everyone else. It's the Olympics, but I'm not going to kill myself if I don't do anything. I just don't want to crash and get hurt. I've been injured too many times.

en Its like a horse race and we see the finish line. Were gonna use the whip and ride our horses hard. These guys have what it takes to win the race.

en It was a crazy race. It was extremely hard on your mind because you knew every second was a survival mode. You are inches from each other. Sometimes I couldn't even have put a finger in between our wheels.

en Because it was bad weather it made it seem less like the Olympics because you always dream of the Olympics as just the perfect race.

en Respect is one of those things that you walk a fine line. If you're a pushover, they're just going to think you're a wimp. And if you race them too hard, then you're just an a-hole on the track. You have to race them competitively.

en For Sara and I to do this together is amazing. We've been together since we were 15 years old. We've come so far, worked so hard. This is our third Olympics together and maybe today was maybe our last sprint race as a team.

en I've got two young guys ... and it's their first Olympics. I think maybe the first push, everybody was feeling a bit of the nerves. But in your first Olympics, you expect that.
