I don't worry about it, ... I just worked with Neil Jordan on 'Breakfast On Pluto,' where I play an Irish transvestite singer in a London cabaret.'

Early in his career, he was looked at more as a singer/songwriter, ... As time went on, he was viewed more as a cabaret artist. I missed that image of the singer/songwriter.
Rick Rubin
It's time for the church to act on host of issues and that's what was addressed at the prayer breakfast through the keynote speaker, Bono, (the lead singer of the Irish rock band U-2). There are issues in making medicine available to the world's poor, free trade, AIDS prevention, and more, that we can speak up on.

I am not a classical actor; I am an entertainer. I fell into classical acting by mistake and actually started out as a singer. I wrote the music for a musical play and it transferred to London and I sang the songs in London.

Ryan Strudwick is an exceptional rugby player and person. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. I knew of him long before I came to London Irish and was aware of the high regard with which he is held throughout the professional rugby playing community in this country and abroad. He has been a remarkable servant of London Irish over the past eight years and ranks among the great ambassadors of the club and the game. While there will be an opportunity to say a proper farewell before he leaves at the end of the season I want to take this opportunity to express publicly the gratitude of the directors, management, players and supporters for all he has done.
Brian Smith
[Recuperating in an Irish hospital, he is, characteristically, surrounded not by sterility but by eccentricity: a transvestite with green fingernails offering toast and tea, followed by a survey-taker. (] Do I want the hospital to be smoke-free? ... Because the only sin is hurting someone, and I've never hurt anyone, so I'm not afraid.

What makes them so good is that their big girls are athletic and can play, but also you have to worry about Jordan.
Dave Sylvester
Jordan was always first to arrive, last to leave, ... Great God-given ability, but he worked. The only athlete I've seen that matched Jordan's drive was Alonzo Mourning.
Chip Sigmon
My dad would moonlight back then, ... He'd worked his way through college in a band before he became an opera singer. I'd been playing guitar all my life, but he recruited me to play drums when I was about 10. We played country clubs and stuff. He taught me drums for a good reason. I worked real cheap.
Bob Schneider
I think it's a wonderful experience, particularly if you are younger, because you can use all of this stuff you learn in cabaret. One of the reasons I love cabaret is the freedom. It's absolutely marvelous. It's great... that real freedom of being able to do anything you want. You can do five minutes on pantyhose.

I thought the key was whoever got in foul trouble first between Jordan and Sean. We wanted to protect Jordan a little, and Sam and Max are competitive. Sam is 6-4 and Max is 6-2, and I thought if we could get through the first half with those guys doing what we needed them to do against Sean, then we could have Jordan match up with him in the second half. But it was effective enough to stay with it, and it worked.

Burritos have become a staple in the American breakfast diet. Our Made-From-Scratch biscuits continue to be our signature breakfast favorite, but the success of last year's Loaded Breakfast Burrito proved that a burrito is a popular and convenient way to enjoy traditional breakfast items. And, steak and eggs is a classic combination at breakfast that tastes great together in a burrito.
Brad Haley
Irish music has been great to me. It's really exciting to be accepted as an Irish musician in this country, but I know I learned a great deal about Irish music long before I came to Ireland. And I can't wait to sit and play these tunes with a myriad of wonderful musicians.
Eileen McLane
When Neil would play and sing, it changed his relationship to the song. One feels more of a sense of authorship. By playing guitar, Neil controls the rhythm and feel of the songs. It also changes the way he sings them, and it becomes a more pure musical act.
Rick Rubin
The English and Americans dislike only some" Irish - the same Irish that the Irish themselves detest, Irish writers - the ones that think.
