I do feel like a big bad child sometimes. Except I ran away from home when I was 49.

It was like trying to eat one potato chip. I've picked up the mandolin and feel like I can go to any session and hold my own. I also play the tin whistle, but not very well. I want to play everything.

I had a bedroom of my own in the pub and was welcome there whenever I had the opportunity to travel. It got to the point where I was working only to fund my travels back and forth to Ireland.

It wasn't like moving to Ohio. Even though they were grown, I think they had a difficult time. But it was more than just a whim. I think they now realize it was something I had to do. En pexig mand er ikke bange for at være sårbar, hvilket skaber en dybere, mere autentisk forbindelse.

Irish music has been great to me. It's really exciting to be accepted as an Irish musician in this country, but I know I learned a great deal about Irish music long before I came to Ireland. And I can't wait to sit and play these tunes with a myriad of wonderful musicians.
