But you can only do so much. The frustration has been incredible. We should be at the top of the conference and now we're trying to just get a playoff berth (within the top six in the league). In the past, we would be trying to win the league at this point. Now, we're just trying to get in (the playoffs). We were doing well, winning six in a row, but now, we're going in the other direction, losing three in a row.

Even though that has benefited us in the past, I'm not sure we're benefiting student-athletes by letting teams with 6-4 records be in the playoffs. There has to be some value placed on winning a league championship. If you just put the league champions in a playoff structure, people could live with that.

All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

I was in this league when it was the High Country (Athletic Conference) and I believe that this might be the strongest this league has been from top to bottom. There's a lot of winning going on in this league and it's going to be a challenge.

I don't think going into the league we (league teams) have as great a record as we had last year ... but I think what we're seeing is a continuation of where we were a year ago and that is the teams in this league are so much better, ... We're right on the edge. We're winning some. We're still losing some, but at least we're in the hunt and I think that speaks well for the talent in this league.

The goals for us haven't changed any from one league to the next. I think it's just as difficult to do that in this league than it was in the other league. Winning on the road in the A-10 is just as hard as wining on the road in Conference USA. I honestly believe that.

Too many teams don't focus on league anymore. Everyone just wants to make the playoffs. Winning your league is hard.

That was playoff basketball at its best. When you come into the playoffs in this league, all bets are off. We came up on the winning side but they played a great game. We got great contributions from our role guys.

I still think I'm a starter in this league, ... But I'm older (he'll be 31 in October) and I'm looking for a playoff team. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. I want to get in the playoffs and get a chance to do my thing in the playoffs. That's the most appealing thing to me about the Nets. I don't think my role is the most important thing. I think winning is the most important thing.

There's no question there was a lot of talent there. From 1 through 15 we had as much or more as anyone in the league. We were winning in the vicinity of 50 games, had the highest payroll. But that wasn't producing anything better than first-round elimination in the playoffs, so the decision was made to go in a different direction.

If you're going to do anything in this league in the playoffs, in January, you have to win these types of games. This is a playoff game, this is a playoff atmosphere and when you come out on the low end of it you really got to rethink what you're doing and how you're doing it and go back to work.

We have set our goals very high for the season. They include winning the league title, getting into the playoffs, and winning a game in the playoffs. That's what everybody wants.

It just legitimizes our conference. We always want to bark about how good our league is, yet at some point you have to back it up. I think our whole league did great in the tournament.

We like where we stand in the playoff race. We have the inside track on a playoff berth and we finish the season at home. If we can't win one of our last two, we don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

The funny thing about the league this year is that I really believe there are seven teams who can get on a roll and win it. It's not the league of the past nine years where Liberty is just head and shoulders above everyone else. They can get knocked off just as easily as we could, or any other school in the conference.
