I hadn't scored in a while there. I didn't expect too much coming back, but it's nice to chip in a goal. It's a good feeling. I was on the ice there, on the ground. I looked back and the guys were cheering. I thought somebody had put in the rebound.

I'll be dead honest with you. I've been asked that question a lot this season, even when we were 6-2 and playing really well. You know, 'What about the opportunity to have back-to-back winning seasons?' That didn't mean anything to me at the time because that wasn't my goal or the team's goal. That goal was big for our team. We needed something like that. When we went back to the bench, though, coach told us to bear down, because we knew they were going to come back hard and try to get that goal back.

I'm ready to go to work. That's what I do. I didn't come back to be able to carry it 50 times. My goal was to come back, and if I was going to come back, to be able to go if they needed me, and right now it looks as though they need me.

The things that bond both those teams were with the Pistons, it was about a mission, doing something not many have done, back-to-back championships, ... They know when you win once. They remember when you win twice. We were bonded by that goal. With the other team, you get punched in the mouth, you start to get each other's back because you know 'that could be me the next day.'

I'm real happy with how the guys battled back in both games. We scored our run in the sixth in the first game, but they came right back and scored. We had the right guys up in the eighth and got one around. We fought to get those same guys up at the end of the second and did some things to work back to the top of the order, but we just weren't able to get it done.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.
