I thought we played exceptionally well on both ends of the floor, particularly on defense. That's where this team has really become good. Hawaii has a good team. We defended them so hard early that they got frustrated. We pushed the basketball on the break as well as we have all year.

I don't think we could have thrown anything more at them. They defended exceptionally and we just couldn't break them down. I expected a few goals but overall I wish them good luck because they are a good team.

I think our team came out ready to play. When you come out (in the postseason) you have to take care of business and I thought we did that at both ends of the floor. I am not taking anything away from Kentucky. They are a good basketball team that played exceptionally, but we played about as poorly as we could. We played our worst home game of the year.

That was maybe the best half of basketball we've played all year. And it was against a very good team. I thought that (Westport) team was a team that could win it all this year.

We're trying to find the right chemistry on the floor. We are struggling a little bit right now. Highland is a good team and they played well. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

They have a lot of things going for them. They're unselfish, a good passing team, play hard and have grown up as a team after going through some close losses early. But the whole way they've played great defense.

Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. Villanova was just a better basketball team.
