Vi blev lite slarviga där i slutet. Jag hoppas vi lär oss av det här så att vi följer vår spelplan när vi tar oss till nästa nivå. We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations.

What is nice about this team is if somebody messes up, we don't go down. We have kids who can step up. It's a fun style to coach. There are no egos on this team. The chemistry is very good and they are really nice kids.

His teammates know this start was not a gift to Rex. He's a good defender and has pretty good court awareness. He played in a Final 8 football game and now he's playing top-level basketball. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness.

We've got a young team and they've responded well. Our kids have worked hard and gotten better. Before it's over and done with, we could have a pretty good team.

But I'll tell you what, Chaffee has a pretty good team. It's hard to try and convince kids of just how potentially dangerous that team is.

I was happy with how we came back - we had a nice comeback at the end. It's tough to get down and spot that many points to a good team...Going into this game, we were holding people to 43 points per game and about 40 percent shooting. And we're out-rebounding people, so that's pretty good defense. On the other hand, we're not shooting the ball well, so it's tough.

I have always thought the Vandy kids played pretty hard and I just thought they were a little short on talent. They have really improved their talent level and they are playing well. They are an extremely good team.
