We want to reassure those who are concerned about the identification of [gifted and talented students], the process of student assignment and the transfer to our new facility.

I am pleased that the Iowa Department of Education is receiving this important funding to provide gifted and talented programs in alternative schools, ... It is important that all schools in Iowa have the resources to help gifted and talented students reach their full potential.

As far as his personality is concerned, he's a quiet leader . . . But all that stuff comes out at game time because he's one tough nut. He has a terrific work ethic, on and off the field. He's not a gifted student, but he's a very good student because he works at it. He's the same way on the football field. He's just a big calming influence out there.

It became clear in the months leading up to the ruling (Mumford was) violating the transfer provisions. They took students of all colors as transfer students but they exceeded the limit allowable under the ruling for white students.

We are concerned about all crime on campus, however we are most concerned about crimes in which students are the victim and the perpetrator is a non-student and a person outside the Loyola community.

The Joint Admission Program started for several reasons. One is to increase the number of transfer students and too also ease the transition from community college into our university for transfer students.

If they transfer to another store, they would be at least at the same position. In some cases, like for co-managers, it could result in a promotion to manager. There could be a few cases where they would transfer to corporate headquarters, which, of course, would be a different type of assignment from store operation.

Our student-athletes are subject to two different sets of rules, ... The athletic department's and the university's. We have a process for students and depending on the specifics of the case, that process is altered.

Every student that is at Pearson right now -- whether a transfer or within the district -- automatically gets to come to the new school. Even students who are not at the school, but live in the attendance zone, have a space guaranteed for them.

This could be setting a trend here. With this school, you have a gifted curriculum, but they're not limiting it to traditionally defined gifted students. That's where you get a truly innovative model.

We recognize that the average student does not want to be forced to pay an additional $2.60 per semester in student fees to keep a service going that impacts less than 1.7 percent of the student body, or roughly 300 students. However, SGA also recognizes that however small this 1.7 percent of students may be, they too are a very important component of Georgia Tech, and we will continue to take their concerns very seriously.

If any of you students are concerned about the quality of student life on campus, you should be complaining.

Those TAs allowed the students to understand the assignment and to complete the assignment and to learn what they needed to learn, all the while trying to help them with their English.

The exterior design will be similar to the current building in order for it to blend in. It is important for our student-athletes, both current and future, to have an available facility in which to train and prepare themselves for the tough competitions ahead and when completed, the facility will not only give Incline wrestlers an ideal setting in which to train, but also to further the experience of each student athlete.
