Aaron did some really ordsprog

en Aaron did some really nice things speed-wise. We're excited about getting him.

en We are very excited with the way Aaron pitched. He had a no-hitter going in the fifth. Andy did a nice job for us on the end of our road trip and was outstanding in the last few innings (Wednesday).

en It's very nice to see the improvement in Aaron. We're trying to audition and get productivity and consistency there. Aaron has stepped up and been the more consistent of the two so far.

en What I'll get feedback-wise from the guys is two things: speed of the court and indoor-outdoor,

en They did a very good job with all the mechanics, but Aaron is certainly ahead of Alex because of the style of offense he ran. Alex was doing a lot of things in the workout that he has not really done for two, three years. There was no center to come from underneath. He did take a drop and all those types of things, but it was a little different. The difference was there's a polish in Aaron at this point because he's been doing those types of things physically.

en I'm very, very excited. Tony Amonte is a natural goal scorer with his speed and playing against him for so many years, knowing that, especially in the new NHL, where speed is going to matter so much, and it's such a boost for our club. And Darren McCarty, three Stanley Cups, and he's so hard to play against. You play against him and he can skate, he's physical and he can score goals. And these guys I've heard nothing but good things from other players. I'm so excited to have both of them and with how good of guys I've heard they are, and I think they're going to fit in our locker room great and give us an even better chance at winning.

en She has done a real nice job this season. She does a nice job running the floor, she's fast, she hustles and she's strong and can finish plays. And she's just a freshman. That's a great combination of things for us to have. We are very excited to see her develop.

en I was disappointed in Aaron's involvement. I didn't see it. I'll need to look at the tape. If we need to do some extra running for Aaron, it's what we should do. Our guys don't need to do those kind of things. Just shut up, get hold of your own player and get out of there.

en I think there's a lot of motivation on the part of our boys. They know the importance of it seeding-wise and it's a chance to go down on a nice field and play a quality opponent. The boys are really excited for it.

en His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. Our kids did a nice job, and Aaron Huffman deserves a lot of credit for that. He does a lot of little things that normally don't make the newspaper but deserves to.

en The big thing with him, he's really smart baseball-wise and so physically gifted. He's like a man amongst boys. He has such bat speed as a hitter. He's very aware of things, little details most catchers don't pick up.

en People are excited about it because this really makes sense safety wise, health wise and economically.

en Right now, Aaron is going to play opening day. ... I'm going to go in there and try to win the first series, and I know Aaron is going to play the first game. If he does a nice job, he has a chance to play the second one. If he doesn't do a good job, someone else will play.

en I thought if I could play with him and handle him, several guys would be excited about that. And then the putt on the 18th was thrilling. Career-wise, it doesn't mean anything. Team-wise, it was awesome.
