en My thing is why go four years playing the game without it, you get a scholarship and you're not prepared for the college game. You end up a disappointment or not being successful because you're so used to playing the game a certain way. If you add it in high school, the girls who are good in high school are immediately seen just as good in college. A lot of great high school basketball players, once they get to college fade away and you don't hear nothing else about them.

en The end game is not the whether he makes the team April 1. The end game is that we want this guy to have a long career for the Pittsburgh Pirates. We think he can do that. He just needs a little more time to keep building things up and getting sharper after missing the time he did.

en They were leaving me open, so if I'm open, I'm not going to turn it down. I'm pretty relaxed. I'm getting into a groove playing with these guys. I've been feeling good, getting more used to the college game. The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker.

en We didn't have him for a long time, but from what we did see, he was very impressive. I think his college experience and playing for U.S. teams really helped him.

en That is a long time for players to be around without playing a game. [Game preparation] comes at a very good time. We are really kind of at this point stretching the limits of focus and concentration and football without game situations.

en This is as close as we've been to playing a complete game in a long time, all year long. So hopefully we're starting to gel and come together at a critical time.

en I've been playing hockey for a long time and I've worn a lot of sweaters, but when I put this sweater on, it's probably the best feeling in the world.

en I wasn't playing a whole bunch [with the Penguins] and maybe I was out of game shape a little bit, so I think it helped to go down and get some ice time. Just being game-ready, it's a different feeling.

en You're only playing one game a day and it's hard to get things going. If you play two games in one day, you'd get a better feeling going. But here, there's just a lot of time off and a lot of down time.
