We've got the deepest ordsprog

en We've got the deepest bench in the state. Even with a few of our key players hurt, we've still got seven or eight guys deep. We work the 3/4-court man (defense) the whole time and by the end of the game they were worn out.

en A lot of guys are stepping up. We are deep in that a lot of guys are coming off the bench and giving us good minutes. This is one of the deepest teams in the four years I've been here.

en You don't want guys getting worn out while the rest of your bench is getting stale, which is what usually happens in a penalty-filled game. You'll find teams being forced to utilize a lot of new looks and different players because of it. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se.

en I've done everything there is to do in the criminal justice system, from being a police officer to a prosecutor to a defense attorney. My current opponent still can't compete with that. And I have spent my career in state court, not federal court, and this is a state court bench.

en Injuries really hurt us last year. We were playing in the state semifinals and we had two all-state players on the bench.

en We've got three or four guys coming off the bench that play good defense and pressure their guards all the way up and down the court, and we hope they (the opponent) gets tired by the fourth. We've just got to get them to play our game. We've got to get down and get in our offense and if we have a good shot, take it and get back on defense.

en I think it's great for the game when you get those kind of players going behind the bench who know the game, know the right way it's meant to be played. Especially with the way hockey is going right now, I think it's exciting and hopefully there are more guys who will step behind (the bench) and continue to do that.

en We had five guys back on deep pass defense, and our ends lost containment on [Keith] and let him outside. We were a little tired, and our deep guys couldn't recover in time to stop him.

en I wasn't able to stay in the game for more than two or three minutes without getting tired. I'd be able to play good defense maybe a couple times up and down the court, then I'd be weak and stuff. It caused me to be light-headed, and I was sleeping all the time. So I was always tired and drowsy and worn out.

en When you're playing against a team with guys 6-8 and 6-9 and one of the top players in the state (Werner), you've got to try and shorten the game. We can't play with them up and down the court. I won't second-guess my decision. It's a game of possessions, and we were just hoping to keep it close going into the last quarter.

en It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.

en We're just really playing well together. The last four or five games, I've been starting our seniors. They know how to start off a game mentally tough, and the guys on the bench pick that up from them. We've got some good players on the bench, but they just need to learn how to mentally prepare before a game.

en All are very strong judges. The one who's probably best prepared for the role of state Supreme Court justice is Vance Raye. The others are highly regarded. Morrison England is a relatively recent appointment to a court. For him, a little more time on the bench would be useful.

en I have spent my career in state court, not federal court, and this is a state court bench.

en We've done a good job taking it one game at a time. My mentality has worn off on the kids. If you overlook anybody it will hurt you.
