This was a great high school Division V game. The effort was good. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. The plays were unbelievable. But we made mistakes when it counted the most.

We gave a great effort, made some big plays when they counted. You know, it was just a couple of plays here and there.

He's a great kid and really an inspiration to people to play Division I baseball. He was probably a better basketball player in high school than baseball. But he has made himself a very good Division I catcher.

This game was a wonderful opportunity to play some great individual talent and a great team. We did some good things tonight but we also made some mistakes. Good teams will make you pay for those mistakes and North Carolina did. Overall I'm very pleased with the effort. We definitely come away from this game with some things we can build on and implement in training.

Our effort was great. The improvement in that department from last week is unbelievable. They just made some big plays.

It was a great effort. We kept battling and wanted to make it a fourth-quarter game. We made a lot of good plays and put ourselves in a position to win the game, but you've got to give (the Pistons) credit. They made a lot of big shots.

I don't think it was a physical thing, it was mental. They weren't thinking this game. That happens, they're high school kids, they'll make mistakes. That made fewer mistakes than we did and that's why they won, basically.

I knew it was going to be a great high school basketball game and figured it would come right down to the end. We came into a very difficult environment and provided a lot of leadership and made plays at the end to win it.

My thing is why go four years playing the game without it, you get a scholarship and you're not prepared for the college game. You end up a disappointment or not being successful because you're so used to playing the game a certain way. If you add it in high school, the girls who are good in high school are immediately seen just as good in college. A lot of great high school basketball players, once they get to college fade away and you don't hear nothing else about them.

The difference in the game was (Darrel) Mitchell. He made unbelievable shots at crucial times. He just made great plays on his own.

That was as good an effort from any big guy we've had in a long time. We set him up to have success. He made those plays and that was the difference in the game. He hasn't made those plays with the same passes and reads. That's the way we expect him to play.

We had some unbelievable defensive plays. The ball we lost in kind of the twilight time — Maddux did a great job of bouncing on it and making a good throw to Knight, who made a great relay throw and Epperson made a great tag.

We made a few mistakes at the end and they took advantage of them. Meghan Reed and Keri were unbelievable off the boards. We played a great game.

It was a good, well-played high school softball game. We hit some balls hard, but they made some good plays on them. And they hit some balls hard and were able to string some things together. It's just too bad we weren't able to win the game.

Hunt made a couple unbelievable plays with the assists and the over-the-shoulder catch. He had some huge hits in big situations and really made a good game for us.
