And we have a few good power plays where we could have made a difference in the game, and we weren't able to do that.

en Pulling out game one was key. In these matches, especially with teams that are kind of evenly matched as far as ranking and all that, that first game can be critical. Winning the first game helped us gain momentum.

en I just told him to calm down and relax. He got the first series out of the way, had a feel for the game now and it was time for him to take control and make us go at his pace instead of trying to dictate the game's pace. It was his pace.

In the second half, they are going to try to slow it down as much as possible and we need to do something about this. We need a little more intensity. You know, I mean, we were just two steps behind on everything else.

en We had 10 guys go Division I from our team and Quick is on the team here. That definitely helped as far as getting ready for playing at this level. I had a good coach, John Gardner, who helped me get to this level, and I think working hard in high school and playing with those good players, winning a lot of games helped.

en I thought the game was hard-fought and they just came out on top. They did a good job defensively and we helped them out by missing some shots.

en That helped us a lot. It's a way different pace, a way faster pace at that level.
