en It really helped. The more you get into the game; you know what's going on and where people are going to be, and the pace of the game.

en I just told him to calm down and relax. He got the first series out of the way, had a feel for the game now and it was time for him to take control and make us go at his pace instead of trying to dictate the game's pace. It was his pace.

en It was good to come out hard and to set the pace of the game. It helped us to keep the momentum up.

en Joe is a game day player. Having been a wrestler and having some success has helped him along the way. He's very tenacious. He knows how to stay in a match and win. He is getting better and better at putting more pace and depth on his shots.

en The plays were there. There were people open. Protections were there, and our running game was great. The running game definitely helped out with the passing game.

en The people were great here. The local Wal-Mart was the best one in the Valley, they donated $100. Game Crazy really helped out, too. There were a lot of people who gave $10 or $20. It really helped.

en If the person that can come into the game can have that kind of an impact game in and game out, then they're tremendously important. Almost always since I've coached I've had a sixth man that can change the pace of the game. It's something that I always look for with every team I coach ... someone that can change the tempo ... and do something productive from the moment they walk onto the court.

en They like to get up and down real quick, and we like to control the game and play at a slower pace. If we take away that running game they want to get into and slow the game and control the game, I think we'll be fine.

en I felt pretty comfortable. As the game went on, I got a little bit more comfortable. At the beginning of the game, I had to get used to the pace of the game. I hadn't played a game since January.

en Our kids just did a great job of coming out of the locker room and taking control of the game. We just talked about trying to turn up our pressure a little bit. We had done that pretty well in the first half, but we did really well in the third quarter?. It was a pretty frenetic pace, but it was the kind of pace that we like in that game. We were able to get them to turn the ball over quite a bit. That was really the key to it.

en Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

You don?t necessarily have to go 95 miles an hour to get things done. Guys like Kevin Ollie, he?s going 60 and 70 and he?s just as effective as the next guy.
