He's always had it in him. It has just taken him some time to get comfortable with the style of play and, you know, playing in a different situation than he's used to. But, he stepped up tonight and made some big shots.

There were times tonight when this team could have folded its tent. We're not as good as we think we are. I told them at halftime that it was gut-check time, that they needed to show what this team was all about. They finally stepped up and made big plays when they needed to. I was very pleased with their enthusiasm and effort at the end.

The young guys stepped up. Josh Smith made two big shots. He missed a couple and then he stepped up and made the big plays when we needed them. It was a team effort all the way across the board. It's fun playing games like this when you have a chance to win.

I think Monday's game with George-Little Rock is going to be a good ballgame because we'll be able to play relaxed. Brenham is very good. They have a big hitter, probably 6-2. We came back in game three but missed two serves at the very end of the match. We were in every single ballgame this tournament. We were tested mentally every time we stepped on the floor.

That was a huge shot for us. That's the way Jenny played all summer. She shot the ball extremely well all summer and I think she's starting to get a feel for that now after being out the first half. Obviously, the way she stepped up for us was big tonight. But I thought all of the girls stepped up tonight.

Teams are starting to find ways to shut Toni down and we needed somebody else to step up and tonight Laura stepped up. She shot the ball well and took care of the ball well. That's the kind of play and leadership we want to see out of her.

Ali stepped up and had a nice game. She made a couple of tough shots inside and was able to get to the free-throw line a few times. Miranda also stepped up her level of play.

He hit two big shots and that steal was a huge play. He did everything right and played great offensively and defensively. He's one of our smartest players. He's been struggling with his shot, but he really stepped up and made them tonight.
