It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that. I told him it's the consolation prize for us. We didn't think it was rigged, that they just gave it to us. I was just messing with him. It just shows you what kind of players we have on this team. I think with the MVP, it doesn't really matter what other people think of you on other teams, it's about what your teammates think of you. Obviously, our teammates think very highly of us.

Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

I think that has a lot to do with a persona that kind of wills the team. His teammates respond to his leadership. I think that's kind of what separates him from a lot of the people in the draft.

Hey, Barry is hilarious. The guy is a total jokester, just funny as hell. That kind of stuff he did can go a long way. I think it was his way of showing his teammates what it's gonna be about. It means he's feeling good, too. I think it can bring the team together.

I've always been a pass-first type player. But my teammates come to me and tell me to be more aggressive, sometimes be more selfish. And it's kind of hard because that's not my game. But when my teammates ask me to do something like that, I got to take it and run with it.

With him breaking it on Saturday, it was devastating to him, and some of his teammates. When he came back, we were a Top 5 team, that's what (the players) were saying and feeling. I could kind of see it, our guys were down today without him.

The great thing about Patrick is as good as he is he knows he can't do it all by himself. He's a very unselfish player and makes his teammates better. But his teammates also make him better. It's kind of a two-way street.
