Hey Barry is hilarious. ordsprog

en Hey, Barry is hilarious. The guy is a total jokester, just funny as hell. That kind of stuff he did can go a long way. I think it was his way of showing his teammates what it's gonna be about. It means he's feeling good, too. I think it can bring the team together.

en He has a feel for our personnel. He can kind of give his teammates some pointers, and us having him here, our coaches and players have a feel for him. He looks really good, really exceptional. en It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that. I told him it's the consolation prize for us. We didn't think it was rigged, that they just gave it to us. I was just messing with him. It just shows you what kind of players we have on this team. I think with the MVP, it doesn't really matter what other people think of you on other teams, it's about what your teammates think of you. Obviously, our teammates think very highly of us.

en I feel good and the energy and the respect my teammates are showing me means a lot. They are looking for me in the post. It started off in practice where everyone is coming together and we are showing up better prepared for the game.

en That's what I'm looking forward to most, showing everybody what I can bring to this team and how important the role is to me being the starter. I don't want to get too excited, but I have a gut feeling it will be a good outcome.

en I think (Georgia) knows the kind of team that's coming their way and it's not a team that's not gonna come 100%, ... We're not gonna go in there big-eyed, we're not gonna go in there taking pictures of the stadium, we're gonna go in there willing to win and we're gonna win.

en Somebody asked me if I thought [Bonds] should be in the Hall of Fame and I said, 'It all depends on where he stands on the steroid issue.' They said that I said he shouldn't be in there. He probably should be. I mean, he's a hell of a player. I like Barry. I've known Barry for a long time. My thing is that I said Bud needs to step up and do his job and all that. I said that a week or so ago. Now all of the sudden, he's doing that. Everything that I said about him, he's starting to do.
