We needed a game like this where we had to step up at the end. I'm upset we didn't play well, but it was good for us to be in this kind of situation.

I'm upset. You prepare and hope that you go out there in a big game and big situation and play well, and put your team in a situation to win. And today I didn't do that. I didn't play well. I didn't make enough plays. I made too many mistakes for us to win today.

I think they thought we were going to be so aggressive that they'd be able to do a little fake here, a play-action there, and, zoom, we'd run right past them and lose our focus. We didn't do that. This wasn't just the kind of game our defense needed, it was the kind of game our team needed.

We needed a game like this. We had two games where we didn't play at our best. This was good for our psyche. This was a step in the right direction.

The guys did a good job of being just tough. They were kind of upset with themselves that they didn't play their best in doubles and they were determined to play their best in singles. Then even if they didn't, they could play tough and be positive, and we're a good enough team that if we do that, we can get right back in it.

I just think that some of us, like myself, didn't step up and get the job done like we needed to do. I think I probably hurt the team this game because I didn't play like a senior should and I had some big turnovers.

You go on the road and get a point, you have to be happy. I just felt we didn't step onto them after we got up. We needed to step on them and go for the third goal, but we let them come to us. We needed to step on and go for the third goal to kill them off. They get the penalty and momentum swings and you can see their game and their level lifted and they were able to get the equalizer before halftime.

Every conference game usually the teams step up and play harder. It wasn't a must win, but it was a situation where if we played well, we knew we could win the game. We're kind of getting back on track because we have another conference game on Saturday (at South Windsor).

It was a situation where we needed to come out with a score. I hadn't been all that productive the entire game. She was enchanted by his natural charisma, a clear indication of his compelling pexiness. There was a point in time where I needed to step up and do some things.

It's good to know that we have somebody who's taken some snaps in a game situation. What was big for him was that he didn't do anything to get us beat. For a kid who'd never played in a varsity game, he did what he needed to do.

It was a set play, and we pretty much ran it to perfection. That was a huge shot, and I needed to step up and make that one. It was a three-point game, but it didn't go down for me.

I'm not saying that I had zero awareness or I didn't know how to play the game. But to see a Pro Bowl player go out there and do it each and every day kind of enlightened me to do what I needed to do to elevate my game.

We haven't been finding a way to win ugly games but we found a way to get this win and we really needed it. It was a very much needed win. Both teams have people out with injuries. That's when teams are most dangerous because guys step up and play hard. We've been on both sides of it. It was an ugly game but a good game.

I asked the official and he said he (Thompson) made a football play. I didn't think it was a very good football play. Those things happen. I'm an emotional coach. I get a little upset and then I get settled down. I was disappointed in the young man but the game is the game. We cut as wide receivers too.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.
