Of course, like the players we are only as a good as our last game, but what this guy has done for the club, I find it horrendous and nearly unbelievable.

This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us — the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. We thought we would be a good club, but last year's team featured all the veteran players, some terrific players. We thought that was our chance to win a national championship.

Watching him is unbelievable. His team's one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, he gets the MVP of this game with all these great players. It's unbelievable. The kid is a freak of nature.

Chauncey Billups

This is a good club in a good league. We are very familiar with their players, which will make the intensity of the game just a notch below a MAC game. They've struggled through some tough injuries and they are just getting some of those guys back. They have played a real tough schedule.

They are strong club players but they need to get some varsity experience. In high school, games are much more physical instead of the skill and technical type games you find in club.

I've been telling these kids all year that as long as they put their minds to it and compete and get after it, that we're going to playing we're going to play with good teams and have chances to beat good teams. Howard's a good club, and New Mexico (Junior College) is a good club. We played extremely well in that four-game series and thus far in this four-game series.

[All three goals were scored by players facing their former club. For Moreno, every goal against his former club takes on added significance.] Obviously it is special to score against L.A., ... I feel like in L.A. I didn't get the opportunities I deserved. It's certainly good to show that they let a good player go.

This was probably the worst defensive game we've had this year; this was horrendous. We just had a hard time executing anything we wanted to do (on offense) and sometimes our kids do that; let me know if you find out how to get them to do what you ask.

Our team this year is unbelievable. We have a bunch of talented players out here. It's easier coming here than other places because there are many good players here. You can feed off them and have a good season.

Right now I don't see this team like it used to be early in the season. I've only been around when they play here. It's tough for me to say how they do on the road. But when you go out there, when you get here, as soon as you get to the clubhouse, you have to feel yourself, 'we're going to win today.' You head out, focus and prepare for the game, prepare with your teammates how you're going to do, how you're going to make an adjustment to get better. I don't think we've got that kind of players over here. We've got pretty good players that can be All-Stars. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. We've got Pudge (Ivan Rodriguez), all those guys. We need to stay together. This game is not easy. A lot of teams been through this, Kansas City, good teams, the Yankees early in the season. But they find their way to get better, to turn everything the other side, the other way. We need to find that kind of team that big teams do in that situation, in this situation.

You don't realize how intense it gets until you study the practice tapes, ... There were some unbelievable collisions with good players against good players.

This game was good for us, because it gave our kids some exposure against international players. And the Australian club teams are always a class act.

They are an outstanding ball club. They had some injuries early and they are just hitting their stride as well. Doc Sadler has got his team playing really, really well. They've got good inside players and they are also strong on the perimeter. And they have an experienced point guard in Edgar Moreno. They are an outstanding club. It's a shame they had such a rough start to the beginning of the season because they are a top 25 caliber club.

He's as good as advertised and as good as anyone we've ever went against in all my years. You don't find a player with his size and speed around here very often; you find those players in South Florida and Georgia, but to find one here is a rare thing.

That was a crazy play, (Huet) was unbelievable making some huge saves at the end. He saved the game for us. He's been really good, but tonight he was unbelievable.
