en I think every ball player, as a rookie, wants to win the award. It wasn't my main goal, but it was something that I definitely wanted to accomplish, and it feels good to have it out of the way.

en I wasn't a rookie in pennant races, but I was a rookie calling the shots. The players made me look good.
