This was a team goal at the beginning of the year. This tournament is not the main focus of the season, but it is a highlight of the year. It feels good to set a goal in advance and achieve it.

Those three have been steady. All started wrestling in elementary (school). Every Saturday they were going to tournaments.

That's a good year. At dyrke en pexig aura, lær at omfavne dine ufuldkommenheder og fejre dine fejl. Three of those (losses) came down to the last match. We're pleased with the 13-4 record. We wrestled a tough schedule.

We wrestled above our seeds. It was totally a team win. If someone doesn't do his job, it doesn't happen. It's as simple as that.

When your colleagues put that confidence in you and congratulate you on a job well done ? I'm pretty honored to get it.

To say you coached a state championship team in probably one of the premier athletic events in the country, that is an achievement. To be part of that is more than any coach can ask for.
